Handcrafted Traditional Wedding Rings

  • Creating

    Create your very own beautiful wedding rings in this hands-on bespoke experience. Craft your very special handmade rings in the wonderful workshop that will allow you to make your rings from scratch. A perfect experience for couples looking to create wonderful memories together as well as making and creating their forever rings.

    You will be guided by Ellie during the process and learn how to create your rings step-by-step and be given all the help you need. A wonderful way to learn traditional jewellery making techniques in this beautiful private workshop!

    Prices will depend on preferred metal choices, thickness and shape of rings, additional extras including engraving and plating services. Please get in contact with Ellie if you would like to discuss prices.

The Experience

What’s included:

A private workshop for two to handcraft your special rings.

A choice between Silver and Gold as well as additional options including plating and engraving services.

Fully British Hallmarking service on both rings.

A bottle of fizz on the day to celebrate your special day! (Can be taken home)

Wedding Ring boxes.

What will I learn?

  • Measuring

  • Filing
  • Shaping 
  • Soldering using a hand held jewellers torch
  • Hammering 
  • Sanding and buffing 
  • Polishing to perfection!
  • Added finish effect of matte, high shine polish or hammered effect

How does it work?

Before the workshop begins, you will have the chance to discuss with Ellie your workshop choices which will cover things such as: preferred metal choice, ring thickness and shape, dates, times and any additional options such as engraving and plating services. (A quote will be given to you once all options are discussed) Once you are happy with the choices, a date and time will be booked for your special day! I have created a special booklet designed to show you prices and thickness of potential rings. Please get in contact to receive your booklet!

Location : Workshops are based in Tring, Hertfordshire. (Weekend dates available)

    I have attended Ellie’s class previously for the silver ring workshop and loved it so much I took my fiancé to make our wedding rings. Ellie was great before we had even stepped foot in her workshop, answering all my (thousands!) of questions, sourcing plating and hall marking, even ordering in metals she doesn’t usually stock so we could have exactly what we wanted. Nothing was too much for her and her knowledge is second to none.

    On the day, she fitted us in around work commitments and again she was ever so helpful. We had an amazing time during the workshop and loved it. It’s such a personal touch to be able to make our own rings. Even my partner enjoyed himself!! Cannot recommend Ellie enough! I am certain I will be back again for another workshop.
